Zinia approached some friends of mine offering 1Mbps syncronous connection at a rather higher cost.
Their website is not active either. Who are they and where do they come from. What infrastructure do they have?

Not sure, but there was already a thread about them (dating back to 2009):

Also both websites: http://www.zinia.co.za/ and http://ziniasp.co.za/ are showing nothing.

I wouldn't go there...
