Hi Guys

I recently purchased the IPtime HV0114. I did a firmware upgrade now it says "NO HDD FOUND"

Anyone know how to fix this? I have a 750GB SATA hdd. I've tried a 320GB SATA as well but still says same error. I'm trying to source an IDE hdd to see if that will work. I can see the 750GB through my usb connection but nothing throught the TV.

Please help!

thanks

Hmm, I don't even do fireware upgrades on myne... Any reason as to why I should?
sorry for not being able to help

my player was halting 15min into any program... so i did a firmware upgrade... but now i cant see the hdd

Thats wierd... Faulty product definatley... Mine played great right out of the box

could be I have too many files on the drive... somebody mentioned on one off the forums there is a bug in the firmware, if you have too many files on it. I have a 750gb thats 95% full with movies, music, comedy, photos, dvd's etc... so I think it could be that...

sorted guys. used an IDE drive with latest firmware...

hi guys, my first post....did the same with my playtime and now it doesnt even pick-up my 80 gig. cemt how did u do it? need help please!!!!

Hi Guys - my first post as well - and in desperation.

Can someone give me a link to the firmware upgrade for the ZC-HV0114 please.

Also my unit will NOT open a backed up DVD using an IFO. file. This is a problem because I have to use the VOB file or backup to ISO - which it opens and plays but I cannot get to the main Menu's of the DVD's.
The company I bought this from have no clue on this unit either.

I'm sure my firmware needs updating.

Thanks for any help - pretty please. Before it goes out the window.

Playtime HV0114 upgrade

Hi,

I'm having problems with my playtime that avi's stop within 2 min's.
Also having problems when scrolling through my photo's it give out of memory.

Running a 250 Gig IDE hard drive.

Where can i download new firmware?

Tnks

Okay, so I'm also a "1 post wonder" :)

I've had my Zioncom Playtime ZC-HV0114 (with 500Gb SATA) for a few months now. Recently it gave me an error message when plugged into the TV: "NO HDD FOUND"

Worst yet, when I connect it to a PC the hdd doesn't show up on My Computer. It doesn't even show at Disk Management.

The only place I have found traces of it's existence is in the Device Manager.

So basically, it doesn't play on TV or PC.

In other words, I am screwed!

Any help will really be appreciated...

Do not use the Bios firmware upgrade from the Zioncom website. Its old and will remove support for SATA drives. There is no new version update since 2007! If you did however, you will have to go to the Taiwanese version of their website and download the latest updates from there. Use Google translate to change the website into English. I sadly don't remember the website address but it worked for me. Good luck!
