i got the e95s today , but no matter what i do i cannot get any sound from the mic in game, in chat in shows a red level and in the settings of steam when i test mic it shows volume, but cant hear anything from it at all, knowing my luck its faulty, the blue led flashes at a fast pace. well doesnt really make a diffs coz i cant get the mic to work, i hate it when things dont work how they supposed to brand new out the box, feel like i just threw money in the bin.:(
 
i have Zixa a21 and the mic works fine until it fall of and won't stay on.mine didn't work for the first couple of days but changing.

turns out that rear and front pink were very low and muted.i un-muted them and set the volume higher while also turning on mic boost.
 
Thanks for reply, tried over and over to get them to work, what was weird was i got them to work on one server Snipers only lol, and the guy heard me once, then after that every other server i tried the mic just turns off and the Z button doesnt work, ive given them to a friend will look to get other at end of month
 
Ripy, one of our guys heard you when you talked to us on RoS. Apparently you couldn't hear him though! ;)
 
It is weird.... Depending on how u set them up. Although I went step for step with Ripykin to set his the same as mine. I think its a steam issue tbh. Cause at one stage I could talk and everyone could hear me, but I could not hear others talking. But at the same time I could hear everything on Team Speak 100% Mine are working all hunky dory now!! Maybe ripykin, u should try change it back to analogue to see if it works that way...
 
I uninstalled my realtek drivers so there was nothing but windows HD audio driver, i then put the old c media 2014(2015 update not available anywhere on net) driver on and same thing registers on everything but in game, i dont get the voice logo when i press z at all, ive only seen it on RIG snipers, ive never seen the voice logo top right of screen on DOG, ROS or DZG, i thought for a moment that it may be that the servers that i have friends on wouldnt work, but it couldnt be like that. tbh, ive given up on joining a clan, stressed out too much over it this weekend already, installed and uninstalled this headphone set over 15 timesand am no closer than i was without them.
 
Remember that on HC servers you will not see any indicators. You will not see (if there is a spyplane in the air) who on your team is speaking like you do on non-hardcore servers. You also don't have crosshairs. Might be that? Wait for in between maps and see if anyone hears you then.

* Just remember that in the lobby after the game you will also not see a little speaker next to your name if you speak you only see it on who ever else is speaking.
 
Yeah... come to think of it, I dont see the little voice indicators either.... but others can at least hear me !!! But in Ripy's case, I could not hear him on a voice chat via steam...

IRG Do the extremely difficult to read controls on the dongle have anything to do with the mic?

Try and get into Teamspeak... If you have it installed, I will give you a channel you can join and we will see if we can help you get it sorted. Hydr@ is in IT support, so if we can hear you in Teamspeak we might be able to help you.

Yes, there is one small slider on the one side that switched the mic on and off.

you can see at bottom right... Slide to the right for on, to the left for off....

But ... When I bought my Wife a pair, the mic was faulty.... just remembered. I took it back and swapped it for a another pair! So just maybe its that!

it registers on all the measurey things, so i think the mic is working, il check out teamspeak
 
Put Teamspeak on, mic registers in the test no probs, didnt play blops last night was nakkered.
 
Shyte forgot to upload my driver for you ....crap soz. If I'm in steam (online) just remind me to do it for you tonight!
 
installed that driver and it shows on my machine as 2014 not 2015, so theres the problem, it cant be that software as it would of changed with the install, something else creates that version 2015

tried speaking to people briefly on ROS last night but nobody heard :(
 
Ok, I was not sure which of the two drivers I have I last used.... I will upload the other one... But can you be heard in Team Speak ?
 
You want to join a clan?if so, you can join -=(DoG)=- (my clan) and I will give you the teamspeak settings...
