Zoom boosts security

Zoom Video Communications Inc. agreed to boost its security to settle claims it misled users about access to online meetings and other issues, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission said. [Bloomberg]

You mean they actually added some security?

If you seriously, deeply care about having a private and secure video conference online, one would never touch Zoom. They've continuosly dropped the ball on offering these essential features and erroneously defended reasoning for adopting a forward-to-authorities and premium-only privilege on encryption, but to their defence I don't expect anything less from a proprietary service and it does it's job well enough for a lot of people. Just getting a little tired of hot-air statements from them on the news if anything.
