any uncapped users getting a taste of this speed?
its seriously killing any other internet in SA righ tnow, its ltimes liek this that make me want to smack WBS haters
 
dude i am a self declared WBS fanboy, EXCEPT when they shut off my account for enjoying the speed
 
tells me they love me, anyways sharing is for hippies and communists

Slim,how is it you get such good speeds and most in here don't even come close :confused:

Even when my Iburst is fast it doesn't come close you your speeds.....damn Slim :(
 
Ahhh, I long for the days of the "ups and downs" of wireless !
I'm so nostalgiac for those wonderful MyCareLess days, when one moment it was full steam ahead and the next moment handbrake on !

Those heady days when we'd see posts like :-

My speeds are k@k !
My speeds are ok today !
Sentech are rubbish !
Sentech are great !
I can't download !
I just downloaded the interweb !

Oh yes indeedy - the wonderful feeling of complete unreliability, the fantastic signal issues - sigh !

I tell you, if they would just let me back again ! - please please, can I have some more wireless sir ?
 
but you know what, we love it, my speeds don't fluctuate that much they're even good or great (heh), as long as WBS dont cut me off we can be friends
 
I hope Shaun Green can answer these questions:

1. Is bandwidth fairly distributed?
2. Will a capped user get suspended if they download more than a certain amount?
3. Why did Sassan lie about the bandwidth manager being in place & working properly?

Most importantly:

How much is too much?
 
bic: i hit 140 on a download but i'm not even leechign that much its mainly web and streaming, stream TV doesn't skip AT ALL, even the high res feeds, YFM radio is fine (always is though)

but its the webpages that made me make this thread, liek at deviant art I click on a 500KB wallpaper, I didn't even see it load, it was just like BAM! and its there
the guys at my reseller tell me they were flyign too, who knows
 
Slim : i'm also getting between 100 and 150 , when i'm not capped but at that rate my cap lasts a day or 2, cant wait for the 9gig!!!! :D

I think we do need an answer to those questions, however I would like to hear Sasan answering them, preferably with an ITWeb journo doing the asking of questions...
 
i'd prefer lonegunman asking the questions, seeing as he has an axe to grind already

I'm just of the opinion that the steaming bovine patties came from Mtshali & Parvin, so why ask Shaun to comment on statements that he never made...?

Rather go directly to the bovinities that issued forth the steaming patties & got ITWeb to publish them...
 
IC, he's the only who's been nice enough to communicate with us. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming him for anything.
