I am supposed to write a speech for someone who will attend a Zulu wedding. The person who will make the speech is a business associate of the groom.

I have writer's block!!

Are there particular things that must (or must NOT) be said in the Zulu tradition? If there is any poster who has knowledge of these customs can help, it would be great.

(No, JZ jokes will not be helpful :D )

Ummm how about please stop killing the boere as an opening joke. From there you can offer babies to cure aids, then get a catering company to prepare some garlic and beetroot and bring a portable shower.

I dont know about a speach but I would recommend you to start off with a song first (they seem to like this one alot)

Ayasab' amagwala
dubula dubula
ayeah
dubula dubula
ayasab 'a magwala
dubula dubula
awu yoh
dubula dubula
aw dubul'ibhunu
dubula dubula
aw dubul'ibhunu
dubula dubula
aw dubul'ibhunu
dubula dubula
aw dubul'ibhunu
dubula dubula
