Zuma calls for a speedy Second Coming

Addressing a group of elderly people at a Christmas gathering at his Nkandla homestead, President Jacob Zuma called on Christian priests to pray to God to send Jesus back to Earth because of the many sins in the country.

According to the Sunday Times, Zuma had been speaking off the cuff yesterday and claimed there were many churches in the country “sinning too much”.

“The sins we have today are more than those that Jesus came to salvage. I ask the priests to ask God to send His son to come back again to cleanse our sins,” he said.

“He [God] must send him [Jesus] again. This time we won’t crucify him,” he added.

Zuma hosted the Christmas party for over 5 000 senior citizens at Nkandla, in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday.

“President Zuma handed the senior citizens Christmas gifts that included blankets, food packages and a Christmas cake, while a variety of their favourite music artists successively shared the stage,” spokesperson Zanele Mngadi said at the time.

Zuma said he was delighted to show love and compassion for senior citizens.

The party, which is in its tenth year, was held at Mnyakanya High School.

Zuma was accompanied by Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini, her deputy Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, KwaZulu-Natal MEC for health Sibongiseni Dlomo, Agriculture and Rural Development MEC Cyril Xaba and Ethekwini Mayor James Nxumalo.

What's worse is people think that their opinion can sway God's opinion. Like God's got **** worked out and diarised and they have the audacity to think God will just go "Ok...yeah - that group in South Africa praying has a valid point. Jesus - back to earth you go boy".

Get off you fat knees and start addressing the problems with real solutions. This is just an excuse to continue to be lazy in the face of real issues & wallow in their greed.
