Zuma is not going anywhere

While media reports suggested that Jacob Zuma's days are numbered, experts and those close to the ANC believe that the president is not going anywhere anytime soon.

He won't go unless he is pushed. Sadly his support base is just too stupid to realise how he is ripping off everyone in SA, including those who same folk who vote him into power

I can definitely believe it...

But him staying where he is doesn't mean his "power" hasn't been significantly diminished by his antics last year. I wouldn't be surprised if currently he is acting to a large degree as a figurehead and is being given instruction by Luthuli House or a faction within the ANC.

as long as he has a support of the people who are oblivious to consequences of voting corrupt leaders or who don't hold him to account, why should he change or be unseated.

lol he has always being given instructions, he just went excited by being tjatjarag because of the lengths which the ANC was prepared to defended him in PayBackTheMoney saga and other scandals.

In that case it is quite rewarding to be an ANC puppet, especially to hold the title as the ANC President. I don’t have any insider details on the ANC structure, but I doubt that he is a puppet, either he is a puppet or his ‘direct’ opposition would not be remarking his term as the ZANC.

He has been emboldened by the so called past success of his scandals otherwise he is clueless, and those inside knows it, but he is the common glue that is holding them, that's what is positive on his side.

As a public servant, he seem to be exempt from having to take any responsibility for his own incompetence and poor decision making. Any other public servant is being held liable for any damage caused by their direct actions, why not him as well? Because he is a political appointment and the ANC is trying to see how far they can frustrate the SA socioeconomic landscape by ignoring cries for change from opposition parties and SA tax paying citizens.

IMO he is used as a change agent by the ANC to further their political agenda, but the change that he brings is not beneficial to some of the taxpayers in the country. I also get the feeling that he simply does not listen to his advisors and ministers who are on the ground, dealing with the ordinary SA citizen.

Just read in a paper lying aroung that apparently Zuma's been in Ghadaffi's pocket too..

An informant told Hillary Clinton that Zuma secretly received money from Libya's Muammar Gaddafi and that he feared for his position as president.

President Jacob Zuma secretly received money from Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi and feared his own administration could be toppled, which led to his overwhelming bias when it came to dealing with the rebels in the North African country.

This was conveyed to United States presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, when she was secretary of state, in April 2011 by a close confidant, based on the information of unnamed “Western intelligence sources”.

The man's a political prostitute, opening his legs for anyone with a bit of coin. That the ANC wants old corrupt as president shows their agenda, which is definitely not the interest of the country. Even so, I think a lot of the issues are caused by them simply making sure they steal as much as possible while ignoring everything else & not some all encompassing 'lets kill the country' plan, yet the end result will be the same as if you've let a child drive a 300km/h car. Most of the time he'll probably do fine, but check the carnage once he gets too confident and wants to show off.

Here's hoping Ghadaffi was able to leave a lasting impression mentally as well ... Ghadaffi was reportedly planning to bring back a type of gold standard to Libya, perhaps one of the only wildcard moves that could still change things in ZA dramatically, oh mighty zumatello, how I long for the day you let go of my money

Ok I'll admit I'm really reaching here, but anything even remotely positive when it comes to zumatello is so rare sometimes we need to try extra hard to find a tidbit of optimism

People could be nothing but bones and skin like up north, no food(coming soon), no water(already happening), eating sand to stay alive(not there yet as there is still plenty of sewerage to live on), and come voting day, will queue to tick the JZ ANC box.
