I understand what he's trying to say and I don't really have a problem with the content but I can't be the only 1 cringing it's coming from Zuma. His words have no credibility for me and will always seem like they mean something completely different.

I agree, especially when everything he says, is a contradiction to what is really going on in the country.

You'll find that the presidency proclaims all the time. Even for previous election days.

Usually they "Proclaim" first and then the "Condemn" afterwards.

Doesn't the National Register Voting Register Close at 17:00 on the day the election date is proclaimed?

How can they still have a registration weekend after today.

It is up to the president to decide whether election day is a public holiday, but in the past it always has been one.

Can't see that changing.
