Zuma sues Zapiro

JZ may have been acquitted, but like OJ Simpson, we all know he is guilty.

Justice is blind indeed.

The ANC really are pathetic these days,it seems what goes around comes around. But no matter what we say on here or have reasons in our thinking the ANC know that it does not really matter as they have supporters that cant think for themselves .

I think Zuma does not have the brain capacity to understand the cartoon, maybe he needs a judge to explain it to him? What a retard the ANC has for president.

Very,very true:cool:

He has no reasonable chance of victory in this case.

Agreed. But his lawyers have, so they're telling him that he does have a case :-)

If you *don't* have money, and the lawyers still tell you you have a case, *then* you have a case. Like with the JASA firearms thing, but that's off topic :)

I can't wait for the Zapiros that follow after Zuma looses this case.

:D

How did you arrive at this conclusion?

With OJ, he lost a civil claim. The original case was badly handled and the police botched, so we can safely say that we believe OJ did it. I don't see a parallel with Zuma.

How much money does/has/continues to folk out for Zuma and his yearly lawyers/court fees and other related crap becauase he is a dicknut.

You honestly believe that the SAPS is capable of handling such a case. They did a fantastic job with the Tony Yengeni drunk driving case (thrown out of court for botched evidence) that it is impossible they could fsck up the Zuma case, especially with the excessive bribery

In no civilized country would he have a case. Lets see where South Africa currently falls then.

I just fail to see the reason why everyone thinks Zuma would be an unjust president and oppose the rule of law, incl Mr Zapiro.

Yep what we need is a president that sleeps with his best friends' HIV+ daughter's and continuously mislays his machine gun. One that is guilty of fraud and tax evasion.

Hehehe, they should get Zapiro to be the court artist for his own trial.

Whatever Zuma's fitness or otherwise for public office, the cartoon has very offensive messages. People have a right to their reputation, and the courts need to establish whether Zuma was defamed. In defamation actions, SA courts have historically recognised that people who place themselves in the public eye are burdened by a more stringent standard of proof. It'll be an interesting case.

How has the cartoon got offensive messages, when it is just putting JZ's prior actions and words into a picture?
