Hey guys,

I know that the zune is quite a rare beast in SA, but thought I would give some of the gurus here a try first before going international...

Basically, I have an issue with the wireless sync on my zune.

I am running Win 7 Ultimate X64 and my PC is normally connected to my switch via a cable (and from there on to an ADSL Router with WiFi). I had tried everything to get my zune to sync wirelessly, but, couldnt get anywhere, and had written the "feature" off.

By chance, my NIC driver started giving me problems about a week ago, and I connected to the AP (DLink DSL-2640U) via my wireless card. Lo and behold, the zune SW pops up, and starts syncing.

Eventually, I sorted out the driver problems I was having, and went back to using good old CAT6. And true as bob, wireless sync stops working :(

When not in use, I keep my wireless adapter disabled.

Does anybody have any idea how to make it work with my pc connected to the network via a cable?

Thanks in advance.

That router has an option to separate the wireless & wired portions so that they can't see each other. I think its called "isolate AP" or something.

Might help.

mmm, checked that out hey... nope... if I am connected via wireless, I can still access any resources on the network that are connected via ethernet (3 other PC's and a network printer), so I dont think that this is the issue :(

Also checked on the router, and "Clients Isolation" option is disabled.

Any other suggestions welcome :)
