Free 10GB data for video streaming on MTN
MTN FrontRow now offers first-time users 10 Gigabytes of free MTN mobile data to stream video from the service.
To qualify for the promotion, you must have an MTN SIM card registered to your account.
MTN FrontRow has both a subscription video on demand (SVOD) and transactional video on demand (TVOD) service, and the free data can be used with either, the network said.
The TVOD service is called MTN FrontRow Premiere, and it lets users rent newer movies from R15 per film, which can then be viewed as many times as you want within 48 hours.
MTN FrontRow Club is the SVOD service, and it offers access to TV shows and older movies for a monthly fee of R179.
When MTN launched FrontRow towards the end of December 2014, it offered a Club package for R399 per month which included 10GB of mobile data on the MTN network for video streaming.
This new promotion appears to have replaced MTN’s launch offer.
