Smaller iPhone SE here in March: report

9to5Mac has reported that Apple is working on a smaller iPhone, called the iPhone SE, which will feature a 4-inch screen.

The latest edition of the iPhone will be similar to the iPhone 5s, but will have slightly curved edges.

According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone SE will sport an A9 processor, an M9 chip for fitness tracking, and always-on “Hey Siri” support.

It will also offer Live Photos, an 8MP camera, an NFC chip for Apple Pay, and Apple’s latest Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular connectivity.

According to Recode, the smaller iPhone, a revamped iPad, and tweaks to the Apple Watch line will be unveiled on 21 March.
