Vodacom Everyday Extra prepaid promotion launched
Vodacom launched Everyday Extra last Friday, 23 August 2013, which offers pre-paid users Vodacom-to-Vodacom voice minutes bundles at reduced rates.
This is according to a Vodacom spokesperson who answered questions about the new promotion.
To make use of the promotion, Vodacom pre-paid subscribers must recharge with R12 or more, after which they are offered on-net voice minutes bundles based on the airtime recharge value.
According to the Vodacom website, customers can buy the Everyday Extra bundles as follows:
- Recharge with R12 or more;
- You will receive an SMS specifying your reward;
- To redeem, dial *111*60# from a Vodacom cellphone;
- Reply ‘3’ for ‘Everyday Extra’;
- Reply ‘1’ for ‘Buy & Activate’.
The cost of the discounted bundle will be deducted from your airtime.
To check your balance and specified time slot, Vodacom said subscribers can use the same USSD menu:
- Dial *111*60#, FREE from a Vodacom cellphone;
- Reply ‘3’ for ‘Everyday Extra’;
- Reply ‘2’ for “Balances”.

The promotion will run until 30 September 2013, Vodacom said.
