Uncapped ADSL for R449 per month
SAINET recently launched its per-GB data bundles with split billing for local and international bandwidth, bringing pricing down to between R29.50 and R9.83 per GB. This is the first split-billing ADSL account in South Africa, made possible by services offered by IPINX.
SAINET has followed up the launch of its per-GB service with the unveiling of its uncapped ADSL offerings. Pricing starts at R449 for a ‘data only’ 384 Kbps account, and for R50 more per month users will get their ADSL access (priced at R152.00 per month if bought from Telkom directly) thrown in.
The following table provides an overview of the SAINET Uncapped ADSL offerings:
|
SAINET Uncapped Pricing
|
||
| Speed | Data Only | Line rental included |
| 384 Kbps | R449 | R499 |
| 512 Kbps | R999 | R1150 |
| 1 Mbps | R1899 | R2199 |
| 4 Mbps | R2599 | R2899 |
This pricing is in line other similar uncapped offerings in the market like Screamer Telecom’s Uncapped 384 Kbps service for R399.00 per month and SAOL’s R699.00 for an uncapped 384 account and DSL access. According to SAINET GM Bianca Petersen pricing will however not be the only differentiator of their uncapped service, SAINET’s overall quality of service will give them the edge in this competitive market.
