Afrihost ADSL capped prices slashed

Afrihost will give their paid capped subscribers double their normal amount of data at no additional charge, the Internet service provider (ISP) recently revealed to MyBroadband.

According to the ISP this means its prices have effectively been slashed by 50%.

The company said it also still honours (and offers) a free GB of data on all capped accounts, meaning that subscribers that currently pay R29 for 2GB will get a total of 5GB per month for the duration of the promotion (the additional free GB must be activated in ClientZone).

Capped clients will be paying as little as R4 per GB on higher packages, which Afrihost boasted is the lowest per-gigabyte price on the South African broadband market.

New clients can sign up for the packages immediately and existing clients will receive the additional data from 1 May 2013.

The offer will run until the end of July 2013, Afrihost said, at which point it will be revised or extended.
