FNB Cell C SIM activation backlog cleared

FNB SIM

First National Bank (FNB) has cleared its backlog of Cell C SIM activations that built up over December, a spokesperson for the bank has told MyBroadband.

The feedback comes after a user complained to MyBroadband that the Cell C SIM they received from FNB on 21 December 2013 with their iPad Air order had not yet been activated.

“We experienced a delay in SIM activations over the festive season,” head of smart devices at FNB core banking solutions, Kartik Mistry told MyBroadband.

“We have since resolved the problem and activations are being processed in the standard time frame,” Mistry said.
