Cell C data uppercut incoming
Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig said that price is the main weapon they have to compete against Vodacom and MTN, and that it remains true in the current mobile data price war.
Vodacom, MTN and Telkom Mobile have recently unveiled new mobile data promotions, but Cell C has yet to respond.
Knott-Craig would not say what they are planning or when consumers can expect Cell C to respond, but hinted that something is coming.
“I do not know of any boxer that tells his opponent when he plans to hit him with an uppercut,” Knott-Craig quipped.
