Cliffcentral mum on listener figures
The Gareth Cliff Show, under the Cliffcentral brand, broadcast its first show on 1 May 2014. Many people are interested in listener figures, but the company said it is too early to release these numbers.
The Gareth Cliff Show launched on multiple platforms, including WeChat, Comedy Central on DStv, and online platforms.
“Gone are the days of sticking to one broadcast medium, or a specific timeslot. Our audience can engage with CliffCentral when it suits them, on the medium that suits them,” said Gareth Cliff.
MyBroadband asked CliffCentral for the listener figures for the show, but the company said that they don’t want to give figures out so early.
“There are several platforms including WeChat, cliffcentral.com, dstv.co.za and Comedy Central on TV and website. We’ll work towards looking at consolidated stats once we’re more established,” said Rina Broomberg, co-founder of CliffCentral.com.
