Extra DStv channel for Compact subscribers

DStv Compact subscribers can look forward to receiving the children’s channel, Koowee, in isiZulu and Afrikaans.

Koowee was launched in April last year as an Afrikaans language channel and became available in Zulu last month.

MultiChoice announced the addition to their DStv Compact offering in a tweet via their official Twitter account.

Programming includes the shows Hopla, Tjiff & Tjaff (Kunsklas, Speeltyd, Uitstappies and Verassing), as well as “Thembi and Themba.”

The channel is set to launch for DStv Compact subscribers next week Monday, 2 August 2010.
