DStv Mobile channels added

DStv Mobile

DStv Mobile announced in a press statement on Tuesday, 5 November 2013, that KykNet has been added, and Mzansi Magic would replace Africa Magic Movies on its bouquet.

As with the mobile M-Net channel, KykNet will only be available to DStv Premium subscribers.

According to DStv Mobile, the mobile version of Mzansi Magic is largely the same as the satellite channel.

Where licences have not been granted for certain movies, substitute movies have been scheduled, DStv Mobile said.

DStv Mobile is available as stand-alone service at R49 per month and boasts 13 channels, including SuperSport 1, 2, 3, and 4.

DStv Premium subscribers can get DStv Mobile at no subscription cost, and receive M-Net and now KykNet in addition to the 13 channels available on the stand-alone bouquet.

According to DStv Mobile, coverage is available in the 10 major cities of South Africa: Johannesburg (including Soweto), Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane, East London, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein, and Durban.
