HelloPeter sold

HelloPeter founder Peter Cheales announced today, 25 November 2014, that he has left the company, which will now be led by a “new team of entrepreneurs”.
In an email to users, Cheales said that it was time for him to say goodbye. “It’s time for fresh blood, more energy, and new life,” he said.
Cheales said that he could not reveal who the buyers were, but did say that it was a South African consortium of entrepreneurs.
He added that he had sold 100% of HelloPeter for an undisclosed amount, and that he had left the company on Friday.
Cheales said that he will continue to write books and speak at conferences – things he enjoys and did before he started HelloPeter in 2000.
“I will continue to watch from the sidelines. The site will always be a part of me,” Cheales told users.
