Afrihost Mobile clients get 1GB free data
Afrihost is giving its mobile data subscribers an additional 1GB of mobile data for free as an apology for the recent network outage.
“The obligation-free gift will be issued to all Mobile Data clients – including Voice and Data-only clients – to thank them for their patience during the recent Mobile Data outage this month,” said Afrihost.
Afrihost Mobile Data clients reported difficulties connecting to the Mobile Data network on 5 May.
While partial data access was restored that day, many clients were only able to get back online the following day. This left them without service for almost 24 hours.
“Afrihost will be issuing the free 1GB to all Mobile Data clients immediately, and the data will expire at midnight on 31 May 2016.”
