WhatsApp price increase on Cell C
Cell C has increased the price of its Unlimited WhatsApp bundle from R5 to R7.50, but increased the fair use limit to 1.2GB.
Cell C launched its R5 WhatsApp bundle in September 2015, which offered subscribers a month’s access to WhatsApp with a fair usage limit of 1GB.
The WhatsApp bundle allow customers to send unlimited pictures, voice messages, videos, and text messages, but excludes WhatsApp calling.
Cell C’s WhatsApp bundle is available as a once-off or recurring payment, and is available to all prepaid, top-up, and postpaid customers.
