Telkom is experiencing problems with its systems which are impacting a number of customer services, the operator told subscribers.
Clients started reporting problems this morning on social media and the MyBroadband forums.
One of the main problems is that USSD menus and Telkom’s app are not working, preventing subscribers from buying data bundles.
Other services impacted according to the reports are voice mail systems and the call centre.
Telkom confirmed that problems on its systems started at 08:30 this morning.
“As indicated in our status, we’re experiencing system access problems. A number of customer services are affected, including the call centre,” said Telkom on Facebook.
The Telkom.co.za website was also affected by the outage.
