Web Africa Virtual Private Hosting from R699

Web Africa has launched its Managed (cPanel) Virtual Private Hosting offering, giving customers the option to have their own managed virtual server at half the cost of a dedicated hosting solution.

Web Africa said this solution has the added benefit of having the company’s expert system administrators manage it for subscribers.

“Our Managed VPS range allows you to tap into our team’s expert skills, so whether you’re after software installs, general upgrades, or maintenance, you’ve got a team of experts on your side,” said Web Africa CTO Alan Kirton.

Every package comes with a cPanel licence, a free .co.za domain, and one static IP. The starter package, “cPanel Plus”, comes with 100GB of disk space, 200GB of additional backup disk space, 2 vCPUs, 4GB of RAM, and 50GB of bandwidth, for R699 a month.

“Web Africa is also offering to migrate your first 5 domains (on cPanel) for free. The offer allows customers with existing cPanel domains to easily move onto the new platform within days,” the company said.

“As always, all Web Africa packages come with no contractual commitments (you’re free to cancel with a month’s notice at any time, even during the promotional period).”
