Torrents search engine shuts down

The Torrentz.eu search engine has shut down, weeks after the admin of KickassTorrents was arrested.

Visitors to the Torrentz.eu website were greeted by the message “Torrentz was a free, fast and powerful meta-search engine combining results from dozens of search engines”.

When trying to search for content on the website, the message “Torrentz will always love you. Farewell.” appeared.

According to Softpedia, all Torrentz domains feature the same page, including the main .EU domain and its backups .ME, .CH, and .IN.
