This is what SA’s Internet users look like
Effective Measure’s October 2013 data shows that almost 24 million unique South African browsers visited DMMA registered websites last month. There were 11,736,510 unique browsers from mobile devices.
Effective Measure is the official traffic measurement partner of the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA), and provides accurate traffic statistics for South Africa’s top websites.
According to the latest demographics data, there is an even split between male and female Internet users in South Africa.
The majority of visitors to DMMA member websites were over the age of 20, and most of these users live in Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban.
