Send files over Skype when the recipient is offline

Skype

Skype’s new feature lets you send files to contacts while they are offline.

“As long as you’re using the latest version of Skype, you can share files, photos, documents, and videos of up to 300MB with friends and groups even if they’re offline,” said Skype.

It said it will now also be possible to download a file multiple times on different devices.

Skype said it has tested different file size limits over the last few weeks, and the 300MB limit accommodates almost all the file sizes shared over Skype.
