Samsung wants developers to make Tizen apps
Samsung wants developers to build applications for its Tizen smartphones and has created the Tizen Mobile App Incentive Program to help motivate them to do so.
According to a report by Engadget, the initiative will offer $9 million in cash prizes from February through October 2017.
Developers with apps that end up in the top 100 chart can earn $10,000 per app, with registrations opening in January 2017.
Samsung said target devices are the Samsung Z1, Samsung Z2, and Samsung Z3.
