Telkom reverses Internet decline

Telkom shrink

Telkom released its financial results for the year ended 31 March 2013, revealing that the number of Internet all access subscribers increased to 527,291.

According to Telkom’s results, the company grew its Telkom Internet subscribers by 0.8% over the last 12 months.

This small increase is significant when considering that Telkom was previously losing Internet subscribers.

Telkom’s interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2012 showed that the number of Internet all access subscribers declined by 7.3% over the previous period.

This means that Telkom has now turned the situation around, and is once again growing its Internet subscriber base.
