Mybroadband iphone app

Any way to view the non-mobile site on an iPhone? That would be great.
edit: shows mobile site on an iPad, but regular site on an iPhone. This is via the simulator. Oh I miss my iPhone!

So, back on topic, let's ask the Man himself:

RPM, any plans for either an iPhone app or tapatalk activation?

PLEASE NEVER DO THIS!

Just have a mobile formatted version of the site and save everyone a TON of hassles.

Another person trying to make decisions for the masses based on their opinions..

Why? There is a mobile version. If you don't want to use the app then don't.

Guess that explains why you bought an iphone. :D :D

ironic, that typo was caused by the predictive keyboard on my HTC DESIRE :D

I'm platform agnostic, just think its tolling when you try to whore your shiny new phone out to everyone is all..

I was not aware that there is a mobile version... but I will point out that this is closely related to the area I specialise in. Having said that, I'll add that native applications that need no access to the leveraging of on device processing power are redundant in the extreme. A mobile formatted version that works equally well across all platforms is the 'correct' methodology.

Just think about updates for instance: one update server side vs 1xthenumberofusersoftheapp updates pushed to devices... come on!

Sometimes an opinion is just that: an opinion, like the one every person is entitled to. Other times an opinion is a carefully considered contemplation of the options by an individual skilled in the area... think about it.

No man ppl why all the fighting. If you make a iPhone app just also port it to Android pls, thats all i was trying to say. For such a simple app it should be easy.

Wasn't whoring lol

So mybb iPhone & Android app pls (gosh we can live in harmony!)

The mobile version of the site seems to work perfectly on my blackberry. I'm sure it'll also work on the iphone, so I'm not sure why there is a need for a specialized application for this?

I kinda agree with what youre saying. The caps and no justification for the claim just got me a little annoyed..

Personally I would rather them activate the Tapatalk thing instead of making a dedicated app.
The negative side is that its a paid app and costs R25 and people might not be willing to pay that.
The positive side is that its a paid app so people are dedicated to keeping it current and working properly.

Another positive is that the app supports Android also so "the other side" like Vegeta can also be happy :D

It'll look cool when it's whipped out ;)
