List of Durban Exchanges with 10meg enabled

FYI one of my contacts in Telkom informs me that at present the only Durban Exchanges which are 10meg enabled are:

BEACH NBAH
DURBAN CENTRAL NDN+
DURBAN NORTH NDNN
King Shaka International Airport - KSIA NTO+:21
Stamford Hill NSML:10
WESTVILLE NWTE
 
So in short what Telkom is saying is since the Trial in March I think till now they only prepped and got 6 Exchanges upgraded? Hmmm maybe I am just ignorant and it's a bigger job than I think it is? *sighs* Oh well 4bit/s it is for now.
 
Theres a few telkom techies pulling wire here there and every were in umhlanga.. so hopefully mid september we will see 10mb
 
I just hope they reach the Ballito okes and then myside in Stanger :D

Atleast we know they are doing Durban, lets hope for a more speedier upgrade OK :)

I have the same problem! When i phoned them like 2weeks ago they said i was on 10Mb but i haven't been upgraded yet or some bull .... but they also said by the end of August all 4Mb users would be on 10Mb.
Hmmmm.... Doubt that!
 
Parts of central are indeed upgraded -

031 337 - Not Upgraded
031 368 - Upgraded

I have 2 x lines, 1 x on 10megs and the other 8 megs from the same exchange.

Morningside seems dead in the water.

Hey wherebout in umhlanga have u seen them? and do u know where the hell our exchange is??

They been all over.. our exchange is in Gateway itself when i went to ask bunch of techies on the side of the road.. they said its 10mb ready but they need to upgrade the backhaul cables that connect to it :confused: they all reckon mid september and i was speaking to 3 techies
 
what i would like to know is - where are more 4mbps users - DURBAN f$%&ING CENTRAL NDN+ or Musgrave/Morningside/Berea????????????????????????????????????????
 
Well what constitutes as Central Durban? Because that would be the business district amirite? Then, your argument is invalid :\

Umbilo has 8mb/s internet. :D

In gateway itself?? if thats the case then im like less than 500m away from the exchange! any idea wherebout in gateway tho? i dont seem to see any towers or anything....and mid september isnt too far away :D
