Warning on a new SMS scam doing the rounds

again, you would have to be real dunce to fall for this.

Do not release the goods until the money has completely cleared your bank and you have confirmed with the bank that it will not be reverted.

You so right, but ppl still get caught. A guy at my wife's work just lost a jet-ski, worth about 40k. He even help the guys to load the jetski on their 4X4.
 
The bugger's woke me up early this morning maybe by mistake!

It started off with a missed call, 2 rings, withheld number. Woke me up at 03:05. Imagine my stress especially after watching the Exorcism of Emily Rose and learning when witching hour was.
SMS Received 2 minutes later: 03:07 from the number: +2773 722 7052 which read:

Congratulations your mobile no have won you the sum of R75,000 from FNB/BBA 2010 promo with ticket no 01NB. For transfer confirm,contact Lisa 078 023 2564 from 8am to 4pm.

Don't know how people fall for these things but all in the numbers ...
