I am trying to figure out what the "best" 3G network is for me to use from various sites.
A primary criteria is signal strength.
I downloaded MWConn (highly recommended)
In the Configuration settings I can review available networks, signal strength etc, exactly what I wanted.
Using an MTN sim card I get the following results:
MWconn 5.7
Network Analysis
2010-11-10 16:57:07'92
UMTS 50% [65501] Vodacom - SA (forbidden)
UMTS 40% [65502]
UMTS 36% [65510] MTN-SA
GPRS 66% [65510] MTN-SA
GPRS 60% [65501] Vodacom - SA (forbidden)
GPRS ??% [65502]
GPRS ??% [65507] Cell C (forbidden)
The number [65502] is the PLMN
Question: what is the missing id of the network [65502]?
Where can I find a list of who is allocated what PLMN?
Steve
