Many people who were looking forward to watching the Vodacom/Telkom interim results presentations online may have been disappointed.
Despite Telkom advertising that the event would be webcast to the world, the service was not functioning as expected at 09:30 as their website promised. The page loaded as expected, but no streaming service of the event was available.
People who experienced problems with this service were asked to contact Corpcam directly. The company clearly states “For assistance, please contact our offices at: +27 12 665 2025.”
Despite the fact that such an important event was under way not a single person who could assist has arrived at the Corpcam offices for work yet. The receptionist simply told me that no-one arrived at work yet…that was at 09:45 in the morning, 15 minutes after the Telkom/Vodacom results presentation started at 09:30.
