Chrome gains on IE and Firefox

I'm not a gamer but it is thanks to gamers and porn addicts that the technology is like it is. They are always leading and driving the technology. Otherwise we still would have been stucked with Pentium 1 and Herculas Graphic Cards or EGA.

If you do not know the above - ignore - you are to young. Ok and if you think you are some clever d...k that like to make assumptions, I am not a porn addict either. Just appreciate the female anatomy :-)

LMFAO, you win the best post of December, hands down!

I love Chrome, however I'm stuck using firefox (which ain't a problem tbh) because some addons just ain't available on Chrome. Developers said something about a limit on Chrome extension framework. Hopefully that will change in the near future.

Used to be a firefox fan but switched to chrome because it seems to be a lot quicker. I only use firefox for Zotero when doing research.

"...according to the latest MyBroadband visitors statistics 19.25% of visitors use Google Chrome." - due to excessive adverts on My Broadband and Google Chrome offers AdBlock.

AdBlock has been available forever on FF

as long as IE isn't standards compliant, they will continue to lose ground...which is a good thing... and don't tell me you believe MS's marketing BS about IE9 being fully standards compliant...it's not.

I've been a huge fan of FF since the start, been using FF up to 4.0. Subsequently tried Chrome and IMO it blows FF out of the water.

As to those that reckon it doesn't have all the extensions that FF has, you just haven't looked hard enough. I'd also recommend taking a look at the web apps for Chrome. There's some brilliant stuff in there.

IE is still the most popular browser for this website's users? WTF? Can we start a drive to get people who use this site to switch to FF, Chrome or Opera or something besides IE?

I use Firefox as my default browser due to a handful of add-ons I've come to rely on. But I frequently have FF and Chrome open at the same time on different monitors. Chrome is faster and their extension list is growing rapidly. I said bye-bye to IE years ago.

The number of superb add-ons in FF make it the right browser for me for the time being. FF FTW!!! :)

Interesting differences in browser stats between mybb and mygaming.

I use both chrome&ffox, ffox for big downloads and chrome for browsing.

I'm using Chrome 9 beta with hardware acceleration & the new Chrome Web Store. It is a superb web experience, each and every time I open my Chrome browser.

Firefox & IE are just.... so .... yesterday.

i wish i could remember the reasons i actively chose chrome over firefox to see whether they've been resolved

Must say Chrome has improved big time over the last year, but Firefox is still tops with addons.
