Netgear MBR1000 3G/4G LTE router

Is this supposed to work on the Vodacom trial LTE network in Midrand?

Otherwise, why report on this? I don't care much about Verizon . . .
 
Nice device (taste of what's to come here eventually), cool speeds, I hope the latency is good, so that mobile/'gsm-tower-based' wireless internet finally becomes a viable option for avid gamers in favour of ADSL
 
It has all the bells and whistles but only a 50mW radio transmitter. Probably costs an arm and a leg too.

10 or 20 metres and through a wall or two and the thing will die.

Most other routers have a 200mW radio while the Airlive Air 3G has a whopping 1 Watt radio.
