Hi all,

does anyone know what IVR options to choose to speak to a darn operator when you call 1555? I have phoned them before and they really know their stuff on data. Now all of a there are a plethora of IVR options and no matter how I try to navigate through them I only get to automated responses.

Im confused, does anyone know what options to choose to get hold of an operator?

Phone MWEB - Apparently they care. Sorry Dude, not trying to be disrespectful here but 99% of the IVR systems in SA do not work, nore are they manned by actual people.

Loads of crap. Leave a message if you can and see if anyone phones you back.

they are hidden behind the ivr, they were recieving a lot of calls mtn came up with a plan to reduce their call volumes, apparently they charged mtn per call

Hi there

Just testd the IVR on your behalf to check out the mapping path, it goes as follows to get to an operator:

Dial1,then option 4, then option 3, then option 2 and hold for the operator, sorted.
