Anyone else?

Both my BBs have been off (GSM) the entire day (12+ hours).
 
Sorted!

It was only about 16 hours with no BB ;)
 
My phone shows GSM so much in the Randpark Ridge area its not even funny! Crapy Vodacom!

Someone that understands!

They've sent out an engineer to my place ; but I've heard nothing - despite asking.

For the 1st few months, I had BIS around 80% of the time ... the next 2 were around 60% of time ,,, the next 2 were 90% of the time and the last 2 weeks are, well, about 30% of the time.

Even data, they claim 3G just about everywhere - but that doesn't seem true either. The amount of times I see GPRS between Randpark Ridge and Paulshof isn't funny. You notice the BB Torch users complaining about browsin too? THat effects me - so daily I'm rebooting, deleting or just using real internet

Vodacom is a 3rd rate provider with a 3rd rate network. Period.

Android on MTN would probably solve your problems ;)
 
I have GSM right now i randpark ridge DIE VODACOM =_= Thinking of moving to MTN 0_0
 
randpark ridge/fairland vodacom BIS. my BB stuck on GSM, when it briefly goes to GPRS "requesting" on and on and on forever. no joy.
 
I get constant 'GPRS' in the Linden area.
I've decided to try MTN when my current Voda expires, and if its better its goodbye to Voda.
 
Northriding ... Randpark Ridge ... Weltevreden ... Linden .... Fairland

Most are neighboring areas as well - and right now it's a 50:50 if I get BIS or not.
 
Hi Guys

The network Team is aware of the problems in Randpark Ridge area specifically Honeydew_Boundary_Rd & Honeydew_shopping_Centre 3G Down , they are attending the problem.

Thanks. I'm in Weltevreden Park, near Jim Fouche, and I had all sorts of data issues last night.
