Will I be able to access my personal and work e-mail from my mobile phone?
Yes, you’ll be able to quickly and easily set-up and then access your personal e-mail via an icon on the phone's home screen. In addition, an easy to use ‘set up wizard’ will take you through the required steps to get it done.

Your work e-mail will depend on how your work set up their e-mail systems and the firewalls associated with it. We suggest you contact your work IT department for assistance.

Will I be able to access the Internet from my mobile phone?

Yes, you’ll able to view the Internet on your phone. Better still, you’ll get unlimited access to the Red Bull MOBILE portal that offers images, Red Bull TV, music downloads from the Red Bull Music Academy, news, videos and lots of other Red Bull content that is exclusive to Red Bull MOBILE customers.

Will my Red Bull MOBILE phone be able to accept external applications?

The RBM C, RBM HD and Motorola MB525 smartphones are powered by Google’s Android operating system – this means that they are able to download more than 100 000 applications from the Android Store. In addition, your Red Bull MOBILE phone comes preloaded with Red Bull Applications such as Red Bull Music Academy Radio and Red Bull Coach.

An additional handset is also available on the RBM100 package (detailed further on). This is the Nokia 5230. Although this smartphone does not have Android functionality, the Red Bull free preloaded applications are included.

Will I be able to port from my existing network to Red Bull MOBILE?

Yes! Mobile number portability is possible. For information on how to do this, visit a Cell C store or log onto www.redbullmobile.co.za.
Will I be able to activate International Roaming when I travel abroad?
Yes – depending on Cell C’s roaming partners for Voice and Data in the country that you’re visiting. For an updated list, and for Terms and Conditions, log onto www.redbullmobile.co.za.

Will the phone be GPS enabled?

Yes – all Red Bull MOBILE phones are GPS enabled.

Are there any special subscriber-to-subscriber services like BlackBerry messenger?

When you join Red Bull MOBILE, you enjoy exclusive access to the World of Red Bull. Within this portal, in addition to news, videos and lots of other fun stuff, there are also forums for Red Bull MOBILE users to share news, views and opinions, either on portal or via Red Bull fan pages on Facebook and / or Twitter.
How often will I be eligible for a contract and mobile phone upgrade?
Every 24 months.

Would I be able to purchase a Red Bull MOBILE phone and use it with a SIM card from another network operator?

--The Red Bull MOBILE phone can only be purchased with a Red Bull MOBILE SIM and 24 month contract. You can use another network operator's SIM card in the device (they are not locked to a specific operator).
--If you port your number to Red Bull MOBILE, you will receive a Red Bull MOBILE SIM as part of the SIM swap process.
--It's recommended that you use your Red Bull MOBILE phone with a Red Bull MOBILE SIM as the device has been specially customised to offer a great content experience via the Red Bull MOBILE portal.

Who do I contact if I have any questions, queries or concerns?

You can contact the dedicated Red Bull MOBILE Call Centre by dialling 140 from your Red Bull MOBILE phone free of charge, or call 084 1439 140 from any other phone (standard rates apply). You can also email [email protected].

Will all the Red Bull MOBILE applications work overseas?

Yes, all the applications will work overseas. To enable this, you’ll need to switch on ‘Data Roaming’ on your phone – this will connect your phone to a network’s data/mobile internet network in addition to its voice and SMS network. However, be aware that enabling data roaming when you are overseas can be very expensive. For this reason, we suggest you carefully review the cost implications and your credit facility before doing so.

Does the contract include the phone or will I have to pay extra for a phone?

Yes, the 24-month contract includes a choice of two phones per package – and a starter pack.

As a Red Bull MOBILE subscriber, do I get preferential rates for data bundles?
Data rates are offered as part of a dedicated data contract (i.e. RBM Online 2GB) – this will be available shortly after the Red Bull MOBILE launch.

How much does it cost to access the Red Bull MOBILE portal?

--Red Bull MOBILE users get free mobile portal access (with fair usage policies built into their subscriber agreement).
--They also receive free browsing and free Red Bull content downloads from the portal.
--Once you exit the Red Bull MOBILE portal and enter other mobisites as part of the internet, normal data charges will apply.

What type of exclusive Red Bull content is available on the Red Bull MOBILE portal?

• Red Bull TV which is a dedicated TV station for mobile, focusing on the World of Red Bull and showing spectacular videos 24 hours, 7 days a week.
• A repository of thousands of content items, which grows daily.
• Music: there is a pool of ± 3,000 shows from the Red Bull Music Academy. This content can be streamed to the Red Bull MOBILE handset. There is also a radio Android application that will be available via the mobile portal and which will be pre-installed on the all four smartphones.
• Video: there will regularly be new videos.
• The downloads are all Red Bull content. The formats are VOD (video-on-demand/video clips), static images, wallpapers, screensavers, lifestyle content, text-based services etc.
• Download videos are not DRM-protected, but are encoded for mobile use. Users can transfer video files as an attachment and/or Bluetooth to their friends.

Awesome stuff. Well done to Cell C for signing up Red Bull as a partner. The pricing, services and value-addons look great. Now to wait out my crappy MTN contract...

Will any of the android RBM phones be upgradable to gingerbread?

As in the title?

What's the story with included Data (MB) and voice (minutes) and SMS rollover?

1 month?

6 months (MTN equivalent)

1year (:D)

Or nothing?

FAQ should address the rollover question.

http://www.redbullmobile.co.za/your-service/terms-conditions/product-tcs/ mentions minutes but leaves out SMS and Data.

Unused included minutes will roll over for 3 months.

If they're not specifically mentioned, I take it they do not roll over?

OR

Following the CellC T's&C's:

Where any tariff plan provides for inclusive minutes, or inclusive data units and you do not
use all these minutes or data units in the billing period in which they originally accrued then
those unused minutes or unused data units will automatically be carried over to the following
billing period (the ‘carry-over period’). This is subject to a maximum balance of double the
inclusive minutes or inclusive data units applicable to each billing period in terms of the tariff
plan. If you do not use the unused minutes or unused data units within the carry-over period
specified then they will be automatically forfeited by you. This provision excludes sms
bundles. Unused sms’s cannot be carried over and will be forfeited at the end of the current
month.

Do we get the 'up to double' rollover?
