I wouldn't call that "Free" :P
 
I don't think the 'free' must be taken out of context.

The free referred to here is the fees added by hosting companies and domain registration companies. These fees are no longer necessary as any person can now register a co.za by completing an online form and have it submitted to Uniform. The R50 uniform fee will then be paid by the client to uniform.
 
...omg, do people not realize that you can just go to places like Namecheap.com and register a .co.za?

This function has been around since forever.

Unless I am missing something, co.za is not on their list.

There list doesn't have .co.za :p

I guess I'll stick with my free (Not reduced to R50 - But TOTALLY free!!!!) .za.net for now, thanks :)

Do you have to fill in that form each time? If so it's much easier for me just to edit my text file each time I register a domain.
 
This is not a new system, its just an easier way to do coza's old system. They are missleading people into thinking that its a new system.

They are even misleading you into thinking that UniForum is doing this site: http://www.cozareg.com/coza-disclaimer.html

Someone should call at 3AM and check if he answers.
 
Hi Guys

I just want to clear up 2 things:

We are working on a control panel for the service. Once you register, you will no longer need to complete the online form when registering new domains. It will already be popualted with your information when you log in.

The Uniform disclaimer has to be placed where we make use of their information. It is a legal requirement on their site.

If you want to update a domain name, your information is already populated without you needing to complete it again. This is why their disclaimer has to be placed on the website.

And lastly, the service is free. We get no kick-backs from Uniform.
 
Man, I hate it when people run down a nice idea so quickly.

I think it is a great idea. I have something similar that I developed on my servers that handles all my registrations etc automatically.
