Nokia warns of hoax e-mails and SMSs

Now what about the people who got emails that Nokia phones will be running Windows Phone 7 in the future? Surely they must be thinking it's a hoax? :p

This should be standard blurb in the Nokia and Microsoft documenation with their products. Seriously. They can't keep issuing these statements. People need to be less gullible. Here's what I think... people should delete friends who forward them this kind of junk mail from their FaceBook profle. ROFL

Wow, Nokia has been with Microsoft what? 2 weeks? and already the cybercrime is hitting them :p

Last night, at 23h41 (way past my bedtime ) I received the following SMS

+27787053098: Congratulations! Your mobile number has won R95,000. and NOKIA PROMO. with ticket no. 0166P. for claim call Mrs. Brenda Khumalo 0719174418

Above is written exactly as it was received ... and obviously not composed by the brightest light in the harbour ..

1) The first number in the sms is not mine :p ... Neither is it the number of any of my pre-paid SIMs
2) I am tempted to call Mrs Brenda Khumalo on 0719174418 and seriously curse her, all her ancestors, and all her own issue. But that would only confirm my real mobile number

I wish there was a way to remove these @ss-holes from the gene pool

Oh .. and I don't use a Nokia phone .. I have an HTC

NO MAN People! Have cell phones made us that dim? *THINK TICKEY BOX* :p
Let us know the response, we are waiting :)

*THINK TICKEY BOX*

I wouldn't know how to use a tickey box nowadays .. last time I used one it really did cost a Tickey ...

Anyway I suspect one could catch all sorts of communicable diseases by merely picking up that handset, never mind the the filthy earpiece against ones ear, and the putrid stench emanating from the mouth piece
