MWEB cancellation form

For the users who have cancelled their MWEB service , if you could be so kind to login to your mweb account and give us your average usage for the last six months. Total downloaded GB's / 6 ;) I know some might not be keen, but thats OK! Just PM me your average and I will add it to this page, without your username attached to the amount.

Thanks oober for the suggestion on the above. Reason we going to try this, is to get a better idea what the actual threshold is before your connection gets shaped to death. Well at least an indication...

I'm one of the fortunate one's. Mweb cancelled my account for me & gave me a refund. Very happy over at OpenWeb since then. They make me feel like they really care about me & my $$$
 
I cancelled last month and this is my last month. Going to Openweb GOLD.

Also moved over from Mweb to Openweb - could not be happier.

I would like to have the use of of my line at all times.
 
I have also cancelled my Mweb account and moved to Openweb and I am very happy that I did.

I've had a good taste of call centre personel, supervisors (who dont know diddly about shaping btw) and eventually one-on-one personal call from techies.

I have had a Mweb 4MB shaped uncapped account for the last month. Loving every moment, 1080P you tube video's stream with out issues. When I purchased Shougun Total war 2 and downloaded it from steam I got an average of 450Kb's during the download. No I am not a huge torrenter, but I find the speeds acceptable.

You can stream 1080p on mweb? Can I also order a unicorn? Always wanted one of those.

Thanks for your post. I used to have this as well (ok not quite the 1080p part).... in fact a lot of us did! Would you be so kind to let us all know exactly how much you have downloaded for the last 3 months if you dont mind?

Also cancelled - ages ago - on Openweb Gold - and its what I was initially hoping for from an uncapped product....

EDIT : Btw - probably better if you just update your first post, as the page numbers are different depending on your settings.
 
I'm cancelling.

Mweb's customer service is terrible, ignoring the general problem in their infrastructure and blaming individual users. Been with mweb since the dial up days, so will be nice to see what other ISP's have to offer.

Openweb Gold - and its what I was initially hoping for from an uncapped product....

Very tempted to go this route, and everyone seems to rave about their service. Would like a trial account though to test things from my side. Need to make sure it performs well on SARS & other websites (mweb was terrible with these).

Edit: Anybody got an email address for a mweb higher up so they can watch their customers abandon ship?

Got a feeling consumer grade uncapped 4meg and business uncapped are a completely different experience.
