mLab South Africa opens membership applications

Highveld Techno Park. The electronic engineering industry is based there. Also, I notice it's at the Innovation Hub which is part of the CSIR.

Exactly this. There's a hell of a lot of engineering-oriented companies in Pretoria, Centurion and Midrand.
 
I was at their function in Fourways on Monday, it was quite intresting. Fees might be a bit high for some people. But I guess that will help sort out the applicants. The Android demo was cool and to top it off we go free angry birds goodies. haha :D

I was keen on going but couldn't make it on Monday. I think the fees are reasonable, even if it's just for the office space (would probably cost me more in petrol anyway) . Had a look through the slides, looks like it's got great potential.
