Vodacom’s million rand #Fail

EISH

Edit: Wonder how much the latest BB fallout will cost them?

The Blackberry Saga is going to be alot more than what we have seen in the past. All the negative feelings and actions are getting clients hot under the collar!

Not too mention people on pay as you go seems to be jumping to other network providers - as the change is almost immediate.

1 million is peanuts for them. They spend over R20 million a month on advertising and they get much more by raping the SA public everyday.

They will survive. Red is not dead yet.

All this and they still want to charge people more for data and give bb users a 100mb cap. Dont vodacom think its about time to do something for the customers. All they give is free stuf that no one goin to use. They need to think of something quick before it to late.

The network operator is one of the top ten advertisers in the country and spends in the region of between R20 million and R30 million a month

And yet they come crying about a few BIS users that use more than 25mB a month and how they can't afford it and how much money it's costing them. Boo hoo, cry me a river.

This shows the amount of power the MyBB users have. So big companies you better not piss us off

Well they lost me a long time ago... in spirit.

The only small thing joined to my hip, at the moment, IS SIX CONTRACTS with the ba$tard$, which I can't wait to get rid off. :-)

If July's debacle cost them a mill in bad press, what is the Bad BIS Business going to cost them in bad press and loss in revenue?

No mention of the BB fail - seriously you people are a $#$&^$#(LOAD WORSE than telkom - go to hell for all I care. Switching to Cell C this month.

I accidentally clicked on the MTN advertisement on this site and looked at their offerings. 10mb for R10.00, 75mb for R49.00. Are these guys retarded or what. Do they pay MBB per click or what? If so, I will click their link the whole night just so that MBB can make money. Who said revenge was'nt sweet:D

Ah thought it was just me that noticed an increase in MTN ads. Very clever, good timing :D

High rates resulted in my company shredding 7 sim cards (3 to go), resulting in a revenue loss of around R3500/month. Voice contracts will be ported starting October, adding another R8000/month.
I bet it doesn't bother Vodacom.

I get the feeling South Africans don't want to conform to an international brand like Vodafone, which has now completely rebranded VodaCom - which was always a South African owned entity. The Blue was working for SA, the Red is not so good, just look how the Blue Bulls performance went down after they were re-branded as the "Red"-Bulls :D

Ornico reports that the outage was covered widely in the media in June and July this year and resulted in around R846,952.00 worth of damaging media coverage on radio, television and in print news media.

R846,952.00 is a very specific number. I would love to see how it is calculated.
