HOW TO TOP UP 10 GIG PROMOTION

Hi,

I took out the 10 Gig promotion special, and these month my "cap" just didn't make it to end of month.

I bought R100 airtime and tried loading a R100 data bundle on sim card, but it wouldn't allow me.

Fortunately my husband had another 8.ta sim card (not the promotion special). I could load data on that sim card.

Would just like to know, is it something I did wrong on my side, or what must I do if my "cap" is finished for month and I would like to add some more.
 
Did not know that it was capped, thought that it went Out-Of-Bundle at 30c per MB once 10GB was exceeded !

Anyone know exactly how this works, I am also interested ?

The Internet 5 Promo is post paid and you will not be able to load airtime on it.
As soon as you reach your cap, you need to open your browser and try to browse.
You will be routed to a landing page and from here you need to decide to purchase a once off bundle or continue to surf at an out of bundle rate.

Thank you for clearing up the matter concerning the top up.

After my cap is finished 8ta directs me to the page that you refer to, then I usually choose "continue to surf at an out of bundle rate". But usually it only works for a few days. Then I get another 8ta page to say my limit has been reached, and I need to purchase the once of bundle.

Why must I purchase I bundle, after I've selected to browse on out of bundle rates ?
 
Why don't you purchase the 10gig midnight surfer for R100.
Alternatively you could get the 2+1 gig prepaid for R149.
 
No you cant. You can only get it with the 10G promo - 8ta faq
