That's because 80% of strangers are not people/spambots you would want to associate with.
 
The bots then proceeded to sent a further 3,517 requests to friends of those users, 2,079 of which accepted.

Another annoyance on FB is ppl clicking on links that post stuff to their wall. Fills your newsfeed with "wow the movie you HAVE to see" stories.
 
I only accept people if there are mutual friends, if not then no, well if they are hot then I'll accept regardless :)

That 20 percent number is under rated. People seem to love, when they some how photoshop their ass and get invites from potential hook ups. Who's got how many friends, i Do.
