I got back from SARS this year, first time ever. Woop woop.

What about you?

Getting a nice chunk back this year. Not sure what to do with it actually.

I am sure there is something saying if it's under a certain amount they will add it to next years balance.

Biggest in the last while I got back was R5k, This year only R1900

Think it only needs to be paid when it hits R25 or R50 or something (it's written there somewhere).

i heard (note i am not sure) that if the amount you owe or they owe is under R100 they don't pay out or you pay in, it will be carried over

what happens if you dont submit ....my forms are not on and i sent it to some family member who is trying to sort them out for me

i have no time to go to sars

penalties perhaps?

best is to call Sars, explain the situation and ask for advise.

Minimum penalty for not submitting is R250 - R300 and remember with the new TAB they can use your bank as an agent to collect money owing from your account.
