Iran protesters break into UK embassy in Tehran

Slowly but surely the public in the ME are turning against these dicatorships. Iran's turn will come.

Whatever your views about the Iraq war are, it has triggered something in the region. I don't know if the US and UK foresaw this. Maybe this was the plan. They knew there was no WMD, but took the risk, because they knew that Egyptians, Libyans, Syrians watching people vote in Iraq would ask the question: If they can, why can't we?

Iran has done everything to undermine Iraq democracy because they know the effect that it will have on them. They could deal with Saddam's army, but not the aspirations of their people who looking enviously at Iraq, Libya and Eqypt and are watching events unfold in Syria.

Nothing silences US critics quicker than simply asking what they would do. It's easy to sit on their moral high horse when they're not facing the responsibility of real world problems.

So they say they would trust Iran. Okay if they're wrong then you'll have the entire ME a tinder box in a MAD scenario waiting for the slightest spark.

It seems the they are in a damned-if-you-do/damned-if-you-don't situation. They do nothing, everyone goes crazy. They do something, everyone goes crazy. People seem to like letting these countries' citizens take care of their own problems, which is fine, except that it rarely works. Sanctions don't do anything, as these dictators have no qualms about letting their own people suffer. It's also futile if bigwigs like China and Russia don't play along.

One good example is Ivory Coast, where the useless and impotent African Union kept harping on about "African solutions for African problems", which can actually be translated as "We're not going to do anything." There was political stagnation, because Gbagbo had lost the election and wouldn't give up power (big shock). Who had to come fix things? The French. Because the AU was bumbling around and being as ineffective as usual.

Eh that was Bush's foreign policy. It was the plan.

Bush pledges to spread democracy

"[It's] historically significant because I think he's revealed to us today his strategy to win the war on terrorism is far more ambitious than we ever imagined," Gergen said. "It's not simply going after Iraq and getting rid of Saddam [Hussein], nor is it simply going after al Qaeda. It is rather to expand and extend liberty across much of the world.

"No other American president has ever committed himself in an inaugural as fully as this to that kind of aggressive, foreign policy."

lthough Bush never specifically mentioned Iraq, he said, "Our country has accepted obligations that are difficult to fulfil, and would be dishonourable to abandon. Yet because we have acted in the great liberating tradition of this nation, tens of millions have achieved their freedom."

Through U.S. efforts, "we have lit a fire ... it warms those who feel its power, it burns those who fight its progress, and one day this untamed fire of freedom will reach the darkest corners of our world."

It's not. It's the third in a series and was superseded by the fourth and current definition of the Bush doctrine, the most sweeping formulation of the Bush approach to foreign policy and the one that most clearly and distinctively defines the Bush years: the idea that the fundamental mission of American foreign policy is to spread democracy throughout the world. It was most dramatically enunciated in Bush's second inaugural address: "The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other lands. The best hope for peace in our world is the expansion of freedom in all the world."

This declaration of a sweeping, universal American freedom agenda was consciously meant to echo John Kennedy's pledge in his inaugural address that the United States "shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty." It draws also from the Truman doctrine of March 1947 and from Wilson's 14 points.

If I were in any public foreign policy debate today, and my adversary were to raise the Bush doctrine, both I and the audience would assume -- unless my interlocutor annotated the reference otherwise -- that he was speaking about the grandly proclaimed (and widely attacked) freedom agenda of the Bush administration.

It should be bush pledges to push democracy only on the anti west countries, the pro west countries don't need democracy.

They have a degree in hate speech against other cultures lol and yet try to act like the next mother teresa's on here;)

Since when is Deepak Chopra's particular brand of crazy a culture?

Also, it's quite rich that someone who apparently doesn't mind people being executed for being homosexual wants to preach about hate speech and respect for culture.

PS. Mother Teresa was a liar and a fraud.

Wow nice propaganda pieces,I wonder who made these sites?hmmmm oh yes wait thats right opponents to islam lol classic......

Oh and none of that is in the quraan, they claiming from different sources......the quraan cant be falsified hence they went different routes.

And the first link well hey you cant judge an entire religion by the actions of a few...in that case we all murderers every last person on earth.

We don't judge it by the actions of the few, we judge it by the response of the many to the few. When that response is a deafening silence, indicating tacit acceptance/encouragement, what judgement do you expect to be made?

You must be talking about Muslims obviously... :p

Clearly you are a 9 year old lol and maybe you wanna be raped it seems...take a walk through hillbrow ya little sex addict maybe then you'll start talking proper or learn how to think. what you spurt out without proof/thinking what a box.

Oh yes, you are deluded. So you claim that he wants to be raped and is a sex addict, because he points out the sex with children that is mentioned in the Muslim faith? WTFU noob.

Well just a few years ago not much was being done to protect women/girls from rape in the western world or south africa, its great that this situation has improved here and but its still a major problem.Hopefully in time the arabs will take a stronger stance on these matters and the public will speak out more.Still not a reason to take over the whole damn country and kill millions in the name of saving a few people from rape.

Well maybe read your book properly then. Amazing how many propaganda sites there are isnt it?

Yes, 99.9% of muslims give the rest a bad name.

No,people like you give islam a bad name.

The links I provided are discussions by Ex Soviets also. Then again, you will just claim anyone that does not swallow your BS, are allies with Israel/Zionists/"the West"/Evil USA etc., so you need not read the info. In other words, due to lack of information, you cannot debate the issue.

You seems to have a short term memory disorder. You have been spewing hate, in all the posts of yours, that I have responded to, today.

Which country is being attacked because of rape? Please supply the links to these "millions" being killed.

Ok. Hate for you is a normal thing, so being objective is not going to be your thing.

If you cared to read what i posted in my previous posts you'll know that my religion is closer to christianity than to irans islam which is almost only shi'tes.

Im objective to iran since I have no ties to them or their beliefs. In fact the tensions between sunnis and shi'tes have been long standing and well known...do some research. So if i was hateful I'll say go ahead and wipe them out because they have twisted what i believe in but Im not, they are free to practice what religion they want just as I am.

Er another poster posted links from the CIA themselves which you chose to ignore lol and the CIA is zionists/israel/evil west whatever you saying now?Why do you choose to hear what you want to?There it came from the CIA themselves, what more do you want as proof that there were no WMDS?

But hey to be honest i didnt like saddam as he was a dictator so i dont even no why im defending that.He needed to be taken out, just like gaddafi. Its just that i can admit that while america did in a way help the people of iraq rid themselves of him then i can also say that millions of them died in that cause and there were no WMD's.

Do you think america did it for the sake of the iraqi people or to further their own interests? It was the right thing to do in the end but what was their motifs?

I also believe they are free to believe what they want. When their religion is used to propagate hate, with the intention of uniting others of the same religion, in the hatefest, then it will be pointed out.

I did not ignore the info. I posted more info from a few lines further down, from that link. Go back and read my responses regarding the CIA info. ;)

Agreed, Saddam and Gaddafi needed to be removed. You "think" there were no WMDs, because that is what you are supposed to think. Don't tell me you are also enthralled with magician's tricks.

Do you think america did it for the sake of the iraqi people or to further their own interests? It was the right thing to do in the end but what was their motifs?

Yes, they did it to help the Iraqi people. Yes, they also had their own interests, insofar as getting rid of Saddam was concerned. In fact, I consider the fact that Saddam had made plans to attack the Bush family, the Bush senior's wife iirc, to have played a major role in the anti Saddam feelings, in the Bush junior's term.

There were many motives. We can only guess at some of them.

I also believe they are free to believe what they want. When their religion is used to propagate hate, with the intention of uniting others of the same religion, in the hatefest, then it will be pointed out.

Hmm something like those website you keep linking to,why not point that out?Thats ALOT of hate going on in there.:(

Aah so saddam was a magician who hid his WMD's instead of using it to save his life.:D

Yes, they did it to help the Iraqi people.

Oh my apologies i did not know that the american government is so caring towards others, maybe they just dont like blacks as much as arabs and thats why they not helping the people of zimbabwe right.I cant think of any other reason since oil/money has nothing to do with it.

And how about the arabs living under their saudi or bahraini friends?I guess those people are also just unlucky that america doesnt take pity on them.

Hate going on there? Those websites are pointing out the hate in Islam. ;)

Here's an example...
The critics of this work will claim that Prophet of Doom is offensive, racist, hatemongering, intolerant, and unnecessarily violent. I agree - but I didn't write those parts. They came directly from Islam’s scriptures. If you don't like what Muhammad and Allah said, don't blame me. I'm just the messenger.

See, you're getting it. That's how the "Sarindar Plan" works. ;)

No need to apologise. We understand your need to blame the "Evil West", even as you agree that the murderous dictator needed to be removed. We also understand your fear of doing it by yourselves. ;) The people of Zimbabwe are not making arrangements with the "Evil West" to remove Mugabe. Perhaps if they rose up against him and then requested NATO help, they would get it.

And how about the arabs living under their saudi or bahraini friends?I guess those people are also just unlucky that america doesnt take pity on them.

Perhaps the Saudi and Bahraini leaders, do not pose as grave a danger to the region, or their own people, as did Saddam and Gaddaffi. Also, there are many other variables involved, as seen in the non involvement of NATO in Syria, where the regional Arab leaders have been instrumental in trying to resolve issues. Every country and it's issues are unique.

Hate going on there? Those websites are pointing out the hate in Islam. ;)

Here's an example...

By inciting hate against islam,oh yes the old fight fire with fire adage works here right, fight hate with hate...two negatives make a positive right?
so HATE plus HATE=love and peace?:wtf::wtf: yes we buying it.:p

See, you're getting it. That's how the "Sarindar Plan" works. ;)
Saddam the magician is dead bravo, bravo his greatest act ever was hiding the thing that could save his life instead of using it.BRAVO WHAT A MAN.

"Yourselves"?So then who are you from, the chosen nation?Elitists better than the rest of us?Should we now bow?:(

Definitely, syria like zim is poor and without oil, they dont deserve "your" kindness o elite ones.

See, you're getting it. Now if only you can get your Muslim friends not to hate so much. As you saw in that link, the hate is being pointed out. Pointing out hate speech, is not hate. Consider it a favor, by those that point out the hatred. I know how difficult it is for Muslims to understand that they are being taught to hate...

Saddam the magician is dead bravo, bravo his greatest act ever was hiding the thing that could save his life instead of using it.BRAVO WHAT A MAN.

Yes, he even had you fooled. Pretty smart. ;)

"Yourselves"?So then who are you from, the chosen nation?Elitists better than the rest of us?Should we now bow?:(

I'm a person "not bitching" about why the "Evil West" won't help people, who make no real effort to help themselves. No need to bow. You just need to remember that asking others to die for you, is not a case of just ordering it, as if ordering a pizza.

Definitely, syria like zim is poor and without oil, they dont deserve "your" kindness o elite ones.

Oh, Syria has no oil..? Zim has diamonds and other minerals.

Like I said, there are many variables involved. It's never quite as simple as you would like it to be.
